Get your personal information off people-search sites
Sites like Spokeo, Whitepages and BeenVerified publish your address, phone number, relatives and more — to anyone who searches your name. Removing yourself is free. These guides show you exactly how, broker by broker.

Two ways to get unlisted
1. Do it yourself (free)
The major people-search sites all offer a free opt-out, and each of our guides walks you through one: where the form is, what it asks for, and how long it takes. Most take a few minutes plus an email confirmation. The catch is volume — there are hundreds of brokers, and many re-list people after a few months, so manual removal is an ongoing chore rather than a one-time fix.
2. Pay a service to do it for you
Removal services send opt-out requests to a long list of brokers on your behalf and repeat them on a schedule. They cost money and can't promise to catch every listing, but they save a lot of time. We compare the main options side by side, and Incogni is the one we recommend for most people.
